Our Story/ Our Mission 

We believe you should wear clothes that tells a real story! 

When you shop from us, it represents the workers, the artesian, the tailors who made the cloth from the start to the end with their bare hands. We use traditional weaving, dying, techniques like hand embroidery, mirror work, block printing, from India that still practice these old techniques from over the years with the hope that these traditional technique stays alive.  

We also sourced fabrics that are deadstock, leftover from other brands of their past collection by eliminating the need for producing new fabrics, which reduces energy and water consumption enabling us to create a positive environmental impact.  

Our Creator: 

This company was founded by Pooja in 2022, a girl born in Gujarat, India and moved to United States with her parents in 2016. When she moved, for a long time she felt like she didn't belong anywhere. Different culture, different aesthetics in which she felt a sense of lostness in herself and the only thing she had was the fashion that connected her to both the worlds. She started embracing her roots and started Fusing her style by adding a little pinch of Indian aesthetic to modern wear. She started looking for clothes that represent her style.  

She always gravitates towards bold patterns and fabrics. Florals, Bohemian, anything that looks a little desi is right up for her. Her favorite way to incorporate some desi into her outfit is by wearing desi jewelry or patterns into western silhouettes. She loves choosing patterns that really reminds her of an Indian Textile.  

She always dreamed of becoming a Fashion Designer and creating something of her own and when she graduated in 2020, she focused on creating a brand that not only bring Indian textile and artesian to the globe but also can help her community back in her hometown. The goal of her brand is to provide employment to the people in need, give artisans recognition and respect they deserve for their work while honoring mother nature earth and make Fashion more sustainable and ethical.
